General
Questions
- Can I create a
fundraising page to raise more than the registration fee?
After you register for our event on www.allirelandcycle.ie
you will receive confirmation with a link to a fundraising
page. This
page is linked directly to our charity which means you won’t
have to worry about handling the money yourself, and donations
from your family and friends go straight to the charity -
while you can keep an eye on the amount you are raising. You
probably know how these fundraising sites work already, but
the general idea is that you will share your link with your
friends and family through email or social media, and invite
them to support you by donating to the charity.
- Where do I cycle?
As this is not a group cycling event, you can cycle
anywhere at any time that suits you.
Even indoors on a turbo!
Just make sure you are safe, that you can record how
many kilometres you pedal for your County, and follow the
steps in #8 below to log your activity to your account on our
website.

Yes. You can build up the kilometres by cycling outdoors on
the roads or indoors on a stationary bike – just as long as

record my distances?
You can use any device to track your

Of course! We expect club and elite cyclists to
target 450km’s in 10 days.
